I'd like to see the ability to install multiple packages similar to rebug, and even que them in a specific order to install instead of alphabetical or w/e

Also to be able to delete pkg files from the install package dialog

Hey, here are some stuff I'd hope they could be possible, see them more as ideas/suggestions:

- Something like a simple PC or PS3 application that lets you convert (or something) PSP saves from PSP to PS3 format and vice versa. If you transfer them manually it results into a message saying "Corrupt Savegame Data" when you load it even though it appears normally on PSP/PS3's XMB. I believe I'm not alone on that issue and I think it's kind of simple. This could also help some games that fail to load or something, they could work if you would load a game.

- Profiled PS2 emulation on a simmilar way as PS2 Classics on PSN/SEN. The important data to accomplish that are inside any PS2 Classics Tittle (if you want one I could provide it via pm), it's an extra module with the instructions to optimize emulation. If Sony was able to get games like God Hand that runs on non BC PS3's with 1,5fps at fullspeed, for sure there is a way to work around that in alot more tittles. I think what it mainly does is that it reduces EE's and VU's cyrcles and change the recompilation method of VUs/EE depending on the RAM usage. To me it sounds worth a look/try atleast.

- A module/plugin loader for PSP or/and PS3 games like on CFW PSP that we could run stuff like CWCHEAT or PSP3D [examples]. (Needs modification on vsh.self I think)

- A way that we could mount normally (without decompression) compressed isos (PSOne/PSP/PS2/PS3) on PS3. Dunno if that's possible/PS3's internal modules allow such thing.

Regards.

i'd like to see Cobra provide the best online functionality. make the ps3 think we're on psn, so we can video chat, play games, and msg only those people connected to the "cobra network" or something. lol, you might even make it where we can get a bootleg playstation home. the ps store might be too much, but if it can be done then i'm sure no one would complain. if not, there's already alternatives.

also, i've been seeing people post about their devices dying on them. there should be some sort kind of warranty or compensation if we already own one. i've always been skeptical about additional hardware anyway, because these days it seems nothing is built to last.
am I a Tortuga-tard for posting here?????

I think your dreaming there lol

There is warranty with your retailer. Always make sure to be careful who you buy from. We have a list of recommended retailers.

Mine has died ( as you put it) and I sent it in for RMA and recieved a new one. I had a six month warranty.

I find any USB device can be either good or bad. I have bought Lexar , or Patriot USB pen drives in the past and had them die very quickly. Then again I have had other pen drives last for years.
If we all are here to help others , then what exactly are others here for?

i don't think i'm that far off when factoring in the internet possibilities. people still use dreamcasts to play online. I'd imagine the ps3s is more capable than the Dreamcast, and it'd be nice if a team began to steer in that direction for the future.

also...i didn't read through all of these requests. maybe we could get some cheat features like action replay or a game genie? I personally don't use them, never relied on em. but maybe someone else could make them available. Have it work for ps1, ps2, psp, and ps3 if you could.

I'd like to see the ability to run pkg files from the network. Not just install them on the ps3 from the network, but actually install to and run them from a network location. Similar to the way gameDATA tool would allow you to install and run pkg files from an external HD. It would alleviate the problem of all those PSN releases filling the hard drive.

Hello All and Cobra Team (If ya reading... )...

I'm new to the Cobra party and went through this thread just to make sure I'm not suggesting a duplicate request but...here goes:

PSP:
As I understand it, some of the PSP games are looking for the MMS to save. Will putting my saves on a MMS in the same structure as it is on the PSP and placing that MMS in my launch 60GB assist with it working?
If not, I would suggest that. It may be a longshot but, the root directory for PSP is "ms0:XXX" It would be sweet if we could map the MMS slot on the launch 60GB like it is on the PSP.
(I'm sure it's been thought of, I just haven't read anything related to it.)

PS2 PAL Games:
I wanna play PS2 Free Running!

I have it for PSP and it's awesome. I just wish I could play the PS2 version on my NTSC PS3.

Thanks for reading and again, if my suggestions have been answered or are totally far-fetched someone let me know.

Peace All!

As far as I know the Cobra USB bypasses all region checks for original, optical backups and backups in iso format. So you should be able to play PAL games on NTSC.

Have you tried any.

I will be able to test as soon as my B/C PS3 gets back to me.

PAL PS2 - Free Running - Black Screen and crash right after the PS2 boot screen.
PAL PS2 - Scrabble - Black Screen and crash right after the PS2 boot screen.

Something else crazy is I have a PAL PS2 Kung Fu Panda and it plays on my ASUS VE228H monitor but not on my Panasonic Viera HDTV. I've tried to play Free Running and Scrabble on both displays with no luck.
