Update

All games tested from an external drive only. All ISO files are No-Intro verified.

Black Screen (won't even load):
Grand Theft Auto - Liberty City Stories (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) (v1.05)
Grand Theft Auto - Liberty City Stories (Germany)
Metal Gear Solid - Portable Ops (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) (v1.01)
Need for Speed - Most Wanted 5-1-0 (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It)
Rocky Balboa (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) (v1.01)
Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix (Europe) (v1.03)
Wipeout Pure (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) (v1.01)
Wipeout Pulse (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) (v1.01)

Issues (not playable):
Dead or Alive Paradise (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) (v1.01) - Same as Dead or Alive Paradise (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) (v1.02)
God of War - Chains of Olympus (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) - Major graphical glitches, even clipped through a ground texture and died
Jak and Daxter - The Lost Frontier (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It,Nl,Pt,Sv,No,Da,Fi,Pl) - Laggy intro, freezes while loading after the intro
Patapon (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) - Runs, but too fast
Ridge Racer (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) - Freezes after pressing select from the mini game
Silent Hill - Shattered Memories (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) - Major graphical issues and flickering
Coded Arms (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) - Freezes on very first loading screen
Daxter (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) - Goes ingame, no sound, textures disappear, message on the screen saying "TEXT ???? NOT FOUND", crashes when entering the house
Exit (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) (v1.01) - Froze after I skipped the intro
Secret Agent Clank (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It,Nl,Pt,Sv,No,Da,Fi,Pl) (v1.01) - Freezes after first autosave

Working:
Every Extend Extra (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) - Playable
Gunpey (Europe) (En,De,Es,It,Nl) - Playable
Tomb Raider - Anniversary (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) (v1.02) - This actually runs and looks perfect! WOW! Can't save though (confirms that it successfully saved but there are no saved games afterwards)
Tomb Raider - Legend (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) (v1.01) - Runs just as perfect as the Anniversary. Really cool! However this one even crashes when trying to save :-/

Cheers

Here's my run through - These are all US releases

Not Working (Black Screen)
Dissidia 012 Duodecim Prologus
Dissidia 012 Duodecim
Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection
God of War - Ghost of Sparda
Grand Theft Auto - China Town Wars
Grand Theft Auto - Liberty City Stories
Kingdom Hearts - Birth By Sleep
LittleBigPlanet
Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Metal Gear Solid Portalble Ops
Patapon 3
Prince of Persia - The Forgotten Sands
The 3rd Birthday

Boots but Unplayable
Assassin's Creed Bloodlines - Graphic glitches make player stuck in the floor
Resistance Retribution - Game will load main menu, but fail to launch campaign
Grand Theft Auto - Vice City Stories - no video output during gameplay/in game cutscenes [not even PS menu] - audio & controls seem working without video
Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus - Game will load main menu, but fails to launch after profile creation
Patapon - Freeze at intro movie
Patapon 2 - Freeze at intro movie
Rock Band Unplugged - Gameplay and intro music is slow and distorted, Background is black
Silent Hill Origins - A loading screen is displayed over the graphics - audio and controls seem working behind the loading screen
Silent Hill - Shattered Memories - Freeze at intro movie

Playable with Issues
Pixeljunk Monsters Deluxe - PNG does not show up on PSP Launcher - Plays one round fine. Upon return to the world map, the graphics become glitched. Rebooting the game resets the glitch and allows progress.
God of War - Chains of Olympus - Graphical overlays and buggy shadows along with falling through the floor

Playable - no major issues
Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII
Dissidia
Final Fantasy I
Final Fantasy II
LocoRoco
Tekken 6

All launched from external HDD [I wish the internal worked :( ]
PS3 - CECHA01 with Cobra 3.55 Firmware
Cobra - 4.1 Firmware

I joined to give my feedback and help towards this.

Games I tested so far from hdd are an undubbed version of FFVII Crisis Core. And Final Fantasy Type-0. I couldn't help but notice people are saying loading them from hdd does not work? Does that mean if I tested these again they may work off usb? lol I don't know. Type-0 Black screened and the undubbed Crisis Core booted to the "logo's" but it wouldnt go into the game...it kept going back and forth from both logos.

Bump.

Anyone else trying to get PSP games working??? Or is everyone waiting for Cobra to release an update? It's funny...now that I got Cobra all updates seem to stop. lol

OH other things to test. PSP versions of Ps1 classics. Could be possible to play them on this? Time will tell

I'll be testing some more games soon.
However a Cobra update would sure be nice.
It seems that savegame support is not working universally yet and launching games from the internal HDD doesn't work for me after all.

Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops[EU] - Does not boot, Black screen (Unplayble)
Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 - Everything works great, just little slowdowns in FMv's. The picture is awesome (Playble)
GTA: Chinatown Wars - Does not boot
Me and My Katamari - Does not boot
Pursuit Force - Works, but sometimes too fast and has graphical glitches
Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII - Works perfect. Here is the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nf-Dfg6bsg4

I can also confirm crisis core(us version) working. So far its the only game that works ok. Castlevania Dracula X chronicles works but it lags when it tries to load the "stage number/name" but after it goes through the major lag from that then it is solid working. I also seem to notice the save files end up in the ps3 save file list instead of the psp mini saves lol...which is fine I just find it weird. xD um And oh I forgot I don't think I said that Final Mix of Birth by Sleep also black screens. Just thought I'd tell people. That's all I tested. Everyone has tested games I want to play so I guess I'm shit out of luck. lol hmmm....one thing I may test is transfiring my old crisis core save file over to the ps3...and see if I can actually load it lol...if I can then oh my we are in luck. Because that would mean we can add codes(max money) to an RPG on psp then save then transfir it over to the ps3 and then play on there with max money/or whatever you wanted to add to the save file. I got this Japanese Alice game for PSP I may test also...but I don't expect it to work since it's a brand new game.

Update/report- Joker no Kuni no Alice(JPN) game blackscreens and when I go to quit to get back to xmb..it "forces" a restart the system.

I plan on Testing the Japanese version of Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection. Since the US version has been tested I think I should test the Jap version as well to see if it black screens like the US version. So stay tuned!

Update 2--Tested the Japanese version of FFIV Complete and it also blackscreens... :(

HUGE update on Cobra main site. Appearently they intergrated Multiman..and have a HUGE update for games allowing more PSP support appearently every single psp game will work now since it can now "choose" the PSP when the PSP is plugged in!?...allowing 100% playback? Has anyone got this yet?
