Anyone have tested on a CECH 2501B ? Because its the PS3 that have most BRICK'S Right?

check the data code if it is not 1a or higher then i think that is 90% sucessfull process
because need to be factory OFW version < 3.5

Can anyone with a flasher plz test a Rogero 4.21 CFW v1.00 to 4.21 v1.09 upgrade via the Recovery Menu without downgrading? Thx

Current system : Rogero cex-4.21 v1.00:
Target : 4.21 v1.09


Try to update through recovery and receive "corrupt data"

Try to update through xmb and get "update data of version 3.20 can be installed"

So...

1/ really is a a corrupt download
2/ cannot update directly from rogero 4.21 v1.00 to rogero 1.09d.

trying new download now. Any thoughts??

You must downgrade to 3.55 before upgrading up to 4.21 1.09

Updated from Rogero 4.21 1.00 to 4.21 v9 from Recovery menu direct. All went well.

I've noticed it is indeed more stable and everything appears to be just fine. XMB icons working!

Q: Can existing 4.21 CFW v1.00 users upgrade directly to 4.21 CFW v1.09 via Recovery Mode without downgrading? What is the correct/safest path to 4.21 CFW v1.09 from 4.21 CFW v1.00?

You can try updating from CFW4.21 v1.00 to CFW4.21 v1.09 from Recovery Mode first,

If it didn't work, then you'll have to downgrade back to ver3.55 using the the downgrade guide on the first page

Then once on Rogero CEX3.55 v3.7 you can update again from Recovery Menu into the new CFW4.21 v1.09

Hi new here and first post, if someone could like me to the v1.9 cfw i'd be greatful, using kmeaws 3.55 at the moment been waiting for a new cfw since forever.

so i just download the zip, unpack it, add pup to usb stick, enter recovery and updated straight from Kmeaws cfw3.55?

PS3 is a FAT 40gb CECHK03

Edit: Sorry dont have e-flasher but willing to take that chance if the cfw is forwarded.
